Description

Ivory Short brings a crisp monochrome palette to a traditional shirt-and-shalwar ensemble. Crafted in pure Khaadi Silk, the short, straight-cut shirt combines floral and geometric detailing with handmade buttons. A block-printed dupatta adds another expression of pattern, giving the outfit a distinct graphic character while keeping its overall appearance measured and easy to style.

The design places softer floral forms alongside more defined geometric elements, using contrast to articulate the garment’s outline. The shalwar introduces a relaxed shape beneath the shorter top, while the draped layer continues the patterned treatment in a different medium.

•      Fabric & fall: Pure Khaadi Silk forms the shirt, pairing the material’s character with clean tailoring.

•      Embroidery details: Aari embroidery and tilla work provide the principal decorative treatment.

•      Neckline: Floral embroidery is accompanied by handmade buttons, adding a distinct crafted       detail to the front.

•      Cuffs & hem: Geometric cuff and border details sit alongside floral work at the hem; placed      motifs continue across the shirt.

•     Silhouette: A short straight shirt is paired with a relaxed traditional shalwar, balancing definition and ease.

•     Dupatta: Medium silk finished with classic block printing brings patterned movement to the three-piece ensemble.

•     Colour palette: Soft ivory and black create a clear contrast that makes the individual motifs easy to appreciate.

•      Ideal occasions: Daytime festivities, Eid gatherings, family lunches, intimate celebrations, and day-to-evening  events.

•      Why it stands out: Embroidery, handmade buttons, and block printing offer different kinds of detail within one monochrome composition.

Who should consider Ivory Short?

Ivory Short suits customers who prefer classic eastern shapes with a graphic finish. It is particularly appealing for those who enjoy decorative craftsmanship but want a quieter colour choice for festive dressing.

Styling tips

Pair with pearl or oxidised silver jewellery and ivory or black heels. For daytime, keep accessories light; add statement earrings for evening. Drape the dupatta to one side so the buttons and neckline remain visible.
